NOTES
Course Identities
There are often problems with individuals running the wrong course as it is not one they normally run by title. The rules have been updated to say that the courses should only be identified by number, on the map, control descriptions and start lanes. It is suggested that there is also a large sign at the start which lists the courses by number and name .
Example: 1 Brown 2 Short Brown etc. This should cover all options.
The start should be designed so that there is a separate start lane for each course with clear labels for each lane.
Non-Comp Competitors
The event is only open to members of clubs that are competing in that round, except on the light green, yellow or white courses (if offered). All competitors on the competition course must be competitive. The only exception to this is for members of a university club in qualifying rounds as it may be impractical for them to get to their open club's round.
